The Long Note + The Yellow Paper Launch

THE LONG NOTE includes readings and performance including contributions from Art Writing graduates from 2020 and 2021 cohorts, recorded at the David Dale Gallery at a live event in August 2021.

Molly May O’Leary performs her debut album Lambent Flame with a poetic exploration of myth, poetry and girlhood, with her producer, the acclaimed musician and frontman of The Hot House Flowers, Liam Ó Maonlaí.

This event will also see the launch of The Yellow Paper, edition 2, in digital format. Edited by the Art Writing Programme lead Laura Haynes, the edition also gathers some of those who have been vital to the growth of Art Writing at The Glasgow School of Art over the last two years: Daniela Cascella, James N. Hutchinson, Melissa McCarthy, Margaret Salmon and Isabella Streffen.
